Restoring autocomplete on Windows run dialog

The problem is when you start typing a path in the run dialog (Start > Run or Windows key + R), no suggestions are made to complete what you were typing. For example if you type “C:\program” you’d hope to see “C:\program files” but nothing comes up.

To fix the issue, in the Internet Explorer options (or Internet Options in control panel) choose the “Content” tab and then press the settings button next to “AutoComplete” and enable it for address bar.
